Driver Found Dead near His Truck at Dry Creek Road and Orchard Avenue
NAPA, CA (June 5, 2019) – A driver was killed in a crash Wednesday morning in unincorporated Napa County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities responded to the collision around 11:44 a.m. Dispatchers arrived just north of Orchard Avenue shortly after.
According to reports, a 2002 Ford F-350 pickup truck was involved. The Ford allegedly went off the roadway before striking a tree on Dry Creek Road for unknown reasons.
The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead on scene due to the impact. He was later identified as a 73-year-old Robert Bruner of Napa.
Furthermore, the truck sustained minor damage after striking the tree. Officials also said it is possible that Bruner suffered a medical emergency prior to the crash. However, further investigation is still currently underway at this time.
