3 Injured in San Diego Auto Accident on Hill Street, Robert Brians Arrested
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 15, 2020) – Early Saturday morning, authorities rescued a suicidal father, Robert Brians, and his two daughters after crash on Hill Street.
According to the San Diego Police, the father drove his pick-up off the Sunset Cliffs.
The police revealed that they received a call from a woman about 4:30 a.m. The woman told the San Diego Sheriff’s Department that her husband had left with their two daughters in his car. Her husband also threatened to drive off the cliff.
After twenty minutes, a San Diego Police officer found a vehicle that matched the description of the suspect’s car. The officer found the vehicle near the 4400 block of Hill Street.
The police didn’t start a pursuit. However, the father went off the cliffs at the end of the block. The responders rescued the children and their father and took them to a local hospital.
As a result of the crash, the father sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, one of the girls, a 2-year-old, sustained minor injuries.
Furthermore, the other 2-year-old girl suffered critical injuries. The authorities expect her to survive, SDPD Officer Tony Martinez revealed.
The mother of the two kids came to the hospital. At this time, the authorities have said they arrested Mr. Brians.
Due to the crash, authorities shut down Hill Street during the investigation.
