FONTANA, CA (June 9, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, Robert Alongino Holmes died in a crash on Citrus Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue.
 
The Fontana Police Department officers responded at 12:47 p.m. Moreover, it happened at the intersection of Citrus Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue.
 
According to the police, a Mercedes sedan headed north on Citrus. Meanwhile, an Acura SUV drove east on Santa Ana.

Upon the arrival of the paramedics, they took the driver to Kaiser Hospital where he died at 1:44 p.m. Meanwhile, the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division identified the deceased as 57-year-old Robert Alongino Holmes of Fontana.
 
On the other hand, the Acura driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
