54-Year-Old Robert Alan Harp Dead After Auto-Pedestrian Crash on East Speedway Boulevard in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (November 20, 2024) – 54-year-old Robert Alan Harp died in an auto-pedestrian crash on East Speedway Boulevard.
Tucson Police confirmed that a pedestrian died following a vehicle collision on Tuesday night at the intersection of East Speedway Boulevard and North Craycroft Road.
First responders arrived at the scene shortly after 8:00 p.m. and identified the pedestrian as 54-year-old Robert Alan Harp.
Harp suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
Investigators determined that Harp had been crossing the marked crosswalk against a green traffic signal on Speedway when a westbound Toyota Tundra pickup struck him.
The driver, a 61-year-old man, stopped immediately and cooperated fully with the investigation.
Officers evaluated the driver and found no signs of impairment.
The investigation into the fatal Tucson collision remains ongoing.
