SPOKANE, WA (December 23, 2019) – A robbery suspect was involved in a hit-and-run crash in the 10506 block of Aero Road on Monday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident happened at the Petro Station just after 3:10 PM.
Reports indicate that an employee followed a man to the parking lot after he grabbed about $3.00 worth of food and attempted to flee without paying. The male suspect then got into a white two-door Honda and struck the female employee.
Upon impact, the female victim landed on the hood before the suspect hit the brakes and accelerated again, hitting the victim once more and knocking her to the ground as he drove away.
The female employee suffered a sore knee and her ankle required medical attention on scene. However, she was not transported by ambulance and sought additional treatment on her own.
The suspect was described as a white man, 25-30 years old, possibly 6’02”, approximately 200 pounds with red hair. In addition, he was with a blond woman who was seated in the passenger’s seat of the car at the time.
An investigation is ongoing to identify and locate the suspects. More information will be released once available.
