Robb Freer Dies in Whitman County Car Accident
WHITMAN COUNTY, WA (July 19, 2019) – A Dayton male resident died in a single-car accident on Highway 27 on July 17.
The incident occurred at 9:47 a.m. on Highway 27. WSP revealed that 61-year-old Robb W. Freer drove north on Highway 27 around three miles south of Tekoa. However, he failed to make a curve turn in the road.
As a result, Robb Freer’s Toyota pickup truck drove across the road and fell into a ditch on the other side where it hit a tree.
WSP reported that Robb Freer wore a seatbelt during the crash. However, Freer died at the scene.
Authorities notified the next of kin and the collision remains under investigation.
