Collision on Highway 192 Involving Semi Leads to Road Closure
Santa Barbara, CA (July 28, 2020)– A vehicle collision occurred on Highway 192 involving a semi-truck closes nearby road on Friday.
Officials confirmed that the incident took place on July 24 on State Route 192 in Santa Barbara County. According to the report, the collision involved a semi-trailer truck.
As of the moment, it is still unclear what events led up the collision. It is also unknown if there were reports of persons injured from the crash.
However, due to the extent of the crash, the highway was closed between Mission Canyon Road and Cheltenham Road.
Caltrans and CHP responded to the scene. Furthermore, Caltrans did not provide any information about the reopening of the highway.
