RIVERSIDE, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on 215 Freeway at Central Avenue

Fatal Motorcycle Crash on 215 Freeway in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (May 4, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed following a traffic collision Saturday afternoon in Riverside.
 
The fatal collision happened around 4:37 p.m. on southbound 215 Freeway, just South of Central Avenue.
 
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene and found the rider ejected from his bike at 60 mph. A blue Honda Civic and at least two other vehicles were also found in the crash site.
 
Paramedics took the rider to a hospital, where the individual was declared dead.
 
A SigAlert was issued in the area, blocking the first and HOV lanes while officers worked on the scene.
 
Further details, including the identity of the deceased, were not immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
