Riley Roullett Dead and Passenger Hospitalized in Oroville Rollover Accident
OROVILLE, CA (June 22, 2021) – Early Monday morning, Riley Roullett, 17, died and his passenger was injured in a rollover crash on Baggett Marysville Road.
According to the Oroville Police Department, the accident happened at around 2:39 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Baggett Marysville Road near Georgia Pacific Way.
Reports revealed that a 1985 Ford F150 crashed and came into rest on its side between a fence and a tree in the area.
Furthermore, a 15-year-old passenger of the Ford managed to call 911 from inside the vehicle. Responders transported the victim to a hospital for treatment.
Moreover, officials confirmed that the 17-year-old male driver, later identified as Riley Roullett, died in the incident. Authorities revealed the decedent was a senior at Las Plumas High School, and captain of the varsity football team.
The events leading to the deadly rollover crash are under investigation.
