1 Dead after Two Motorcycles Collide on Aviation Boulevard near Artesia Boulevard
REDONDO BEACH, CA (November 9, 2019) – A rider was killed after two motorcycles collided on Aviation Boulevard, Saturday morning.
According to the Redondo Beach Police Department, the incident happened at about 12:05 AM. Two riders were southbound on Aviation Boulevard when one of them hit a curb. Then, the motorcyclist struck the other rider near Artesia Boulevard.
Emergency responders rushed the injured riders to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance. Unfortunately, one of the riders was pronounced dead at 12:39 AM. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
