Motorcyclist Hospitalized in Hesperia Collision
Hesperia, CA (April 6, 2024) – A male motorcycle rider sustained injuries following a traffic collision on Interstate 15 early Friday morning.
It was about 6:49 a.m. when the collision between a black Chevy Volt and a motorcycle unfolded on the southbound freeway, north of Oak Hill Road.
Responding officers located the motorcyclist down in lanes and blocking traffic.
Some of those who witnessed the collision covered the victim with a blanket to help keep him warm while waiting for the ambulance.
Minutes later, the rescuers rushed the injured rider to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
The accident report noted that the rider was wearing a helmet and able to the medical team give hand gestures as they tended to him.
Victorville California Highway Patrol is investigating this motorcycle crash.
