Bicyclist Injured in Bike and Car Collision on Sixth Avenue at A Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 27, 2018) – A bike rider was injured in a bicycle and car collision on A Street shortly before 2:00 AM Wednesday.
The crash between a BMX bicycle and a Toyota Corolla occurred in downtown San Diego at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and A Street. The bicyclist complained of pain in his neck and in his arms so he was transported to the hospital. It was reported that his injuries were not life-threatening.
The age and gender of the driver and the bicyclist were not immediately announced. The San Diego Police Department’s traffic division was investigating the crash.
