Man Hospitalized in Mission Valley E Collision
San Diego, CA (May 25, 2024) – A 19-year-old male rider was injured following a 1400 Camino Del Rio South collision Friday morning.
It was past 8 a.m. when the collision happened in Mission Valley East.
Investigators stated the man was riding a 2015 Honda PGM-FI motorcycle when a 46-year-old woman driving a 2023 Mazda CX-30 pulled in front of him.
The woman was attempting to merge into traffic from a driveway.
As a result, the motorcyclist had to stop suddenly and was thrown from his motorcycle.
He was transported to an area hospital for an open fracture to his right ankle and left lower leg, and a laceration to his left thigh. Luckily, the injuries were not- life-threatening.
