Rider Fatally Injured Following Marin Street Collision [Vallejo, CA]

Vallejo, CA (December 27, 2024) – A motorcyclist was fatally injured following a Marin Street collision Tuesday night.

The fatal traffic crash happened around 11:21 p.m. at the intersection with Florida Street.

Two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on Marin Street and had green lights when the truck tried to turn left, failing to yield to oncoming vehicles.

As a result, the motorcycle crashed into the truck bed and its driver sustained life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to a hospital where he died.

Moreover, the truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. 

Troopers said alcohol and drugs were not factors in the collision.
