Big Rig Crash in Barstow Sends 1 to Hospital
Barstow, CA (April 27, 2024) – A motorcycle rider has been injured in an Interstate 15 hit-and-run crash late Friday afternoon.
CHP officers received the crash report between a motorcycle and a big rig at 5:06 p.m. on the northbound freeway near the midway rest stop area.
The accident report stated that the motorcycle rider was lane-splitting before the collision.
Immediately, the California Highway Patrol troopers and firefighters from the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the crash scene and located the motorcycle rider in the freeway’s middle lane.
Mercy Air # 66 transported the injured rider to Antelope Medical Center.
The California Highway Patrol – Barstow Office is investigating this traffic accident.
