1 Dead in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on Union Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 9, 2020) – Last Monday night, 67-year-old Ricky Ricardo Tappin died in a pedestrian crash on Union Avenue.
The Bakersfield Police Department currently investigates the deadly vehicle versus pedestrian crash. According to police reports, the incident occurred on Union Avenue between 4th Street and 6th Street.
On the other hand, the crash led to the complete closure of the northbound lanes between 4th Street and 6th Street. Moreover, the southbound lanes south of California were shut down as well.
