SAN JOSE, CA (July 7, 2021) – Friday, Rickey Soto Fogle suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Almaden Expressway.
 
The crash that injured the San Jose bicyclist occurred on Almaden Expressway.
 
Initially, everyone thought that the crash was just an accident involving cyclists. However, Fogle’s bike and the extent of his injuries suggested that it was a crime.
 
“This is someone who left Rickey for dead,” said Dave Nelson, one of the bicyclists who rode with Fogle on Friday.
 
The bicyclists found out that Rickey Soto Fogle has been taken to Valley Medical Center. He received treatment for four broken ribs, punctured lungs, fractures to his pelvis, arm and leg, and a neck and spine injury.
 
At this time, the authorities continue to look for the hit-and-run driver.
 
His friends set up a GoFundMe for Fogle’s medical expenses which already exceeded its goal of $10,000.
