Early Morning 2-Vehicle Wreck on 80 Freeway in Richmond, Complaint of Pain Reported
RICHMOND, CA (February 14, 2019) – One person was injured following a two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Richmond.
The crash occurred around 2:19 a.m. on eastbound 80 Freeway at Central Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a brown Toyota Corolla collided with another vehicle for unknown reasons. The impact sent one of the vehicles down an embankment.
Law enforcement arrived on the scene and reported one patient with a possible broken hand and complained of pain. An ambulance unit was immediately dispatched to transport the patient to a hospital.
Both involved vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
Due to several factors remained unclear, investigation is ongoing.
