1 Hurt in Stevens Pass Traffic Crash on US Route 2
STEVENS PASS, WA (November 27, 2022) – On Friday, Richie Arroyo sustained injuries following a two-vehicle accident on US Route 2.
The incident happened on westbound US Route 2.
According to Washington State Trooper Jeremy Weber, a westbound white 2015 Mitsubishi lost control for still unknown reasons. Then, it was struck by a westbound white 2021 GMC.
Moreover, responders transported the Mitsubishi driver, 26-year-old Richie Arroyo, to a hospital for treatment. Authorities cited Arroyo for driving too fast for road conditions. Also, the GMC driver, Jon Kowalczyk, suffered no injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, Weber confirmed that the roads were incredibly icy and slippery at the time of the incident.
