Passenger Injured in Fort Bragg Collision
Fort Bragg, CA (April 17, 2022) – On April 14, the authorities arrested Richelle Notmeyer in a DUI crash on East Redwood Avenue that injured her male passenger.
This fiery crash happened at approximately 10:39 p.m. in the 300 Block area.
According to the investigators, Notmeyer was westbound when her vehicle struck two parked vehicles. One of those vehicles that she struck also hit a fire hydrant and an occupied building.
Afterward, Notmeyer’s vehicle rested on East Redwood Avenue.
Reports say that a male passenger in Notmeyer’s vehicle incurred minor facial injuries due to the accident.
Moreover, Officers say Notmeyer displayed signs of alcohol intoxication. Also, Notmeyer admitted she consumed a large amount of alcohol before driving.
Notmeyer provided a breathalyzer sample which showed that her blood alcohol content was .355%. She also provided two more additional breath samples which determined that her blood alcohol content during the collision was .37% (four times the legal limit).
The authorities arrested Notmeyer for driving under the influence of alcohol and causing bodily injury.
They transported Notmeyer to The Mendocino County Jail with charges of 23153(A) CVC (driving under the influence and causing bodily injury), and 23153(B) CVC (driving under the influence and causing bodily injury while over .08% BAC).
