Fresno Traffic Collision Kills Motorcyclist Richard Lewis
Fresno, CA (July 20, 2022) – Earlier today, Richard Lewis, 43, of Auberry, lost his life in a motorcycle crash on Highway 168.
The fatal incident took place at about 7:30 a.m. east of the roundabout in Prather.
According to the investigators, Richard Lewis on a 2001 Harley-Davidson was westbound on the freeway.
At the same time, a 2006 Toyota 4-Runner and a 2003 Chevrolet Express pulling a trailer, were eastbound on the freeway.
The Toyota driver, a 43-year-old woman from Auberry prepared to turn left towards the other lane.
Richard Lewis’ motorcycle rear-ended the Toyota, throwing him into the roadway.
Then, the 67-year-old Clovis man driving the Chevy then struck Lewis.
Sadly, Richard Lewis lost his life in this collision.
On the other hand, neither of the drivers sustained injuries.
In the meantime, officers are investigating the Fresno fatal collision.
