1 Killed in Keyes Traffic Accident on Keyes Road near Pioneer Road

 
KEYES, CA (September 5, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, Richard John Agresti sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Keyes Road near Pioneer Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 1:10 a.m. Also, the collision occurred on Keyes Road east of Pioneer Road.
 
Reports revealed that an eastbound 2008 Mazda 3 traveling at a high rate of speed veered into the westbound lanes and struck the left front side of a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado. Then, the force of the crash ejected the Mazda driver into the roadway.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the Mazda driver dead at the scene. Also, paramedics transported the Chevrolet driver, 31-year-old Richard John Agresti, to a hospital with major injuries, including a laceration to his head.
 
Meanwhile, the events leading to the crash remained under investigation.
