Richard Brown and Marjory Brown Dead, Two Injured after Tucson Three-Car Crash
TUCSON, AZ (August 25, 2019) – Two people identified as Richard Brown and Marjory Brown, both 85, died in car crash on Wednesday, August 21.
According to the Oro Valley Police Department, the crash occurred at the intersection of La Canada Drive and Tangerine Road at about 9 a.m.
The Browns drove a Toyota Rav 4 when a 19-year-old driver traveling in a white Ford Raptor made a u-turn and crashed with them.
The collision pushed the Browns vehicle into the path of an oncoming tow truck. Their car also crashed into a tree.
Two other people sustained injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The OVPD Traffic Unit rushed to the scene to investigate. Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the incident.
The investigation is still ongoing.
