Interstate 215 Semi Truck Crash Killed Ricardo Rodriguez
Riverside, CA (September 5, 2020) – On Thursday, 49-year-old Ricardo Rodriguez of San Jacinto died in a vehicle crash on Interstate 215.
The fatal accident which involved the victim’s SUV and two big rigs happened at about 12:35 p.m. near Central Avenue.
California Highway Patrol said he was the sole occupant of the Ford Expedition that crashed with the tractor-trailers, whose drivers fled after the incident.
Officers closed down three of four northbound lanes to conduct a preliminary investigation, triggering a SigAlert.
Lanes on the entire northbound side of the freeway were reopened at 5 p.m. while no southbound lanes were closed.
