Driver and Passenger Hospitalized in Kerman Pickup Truck Crash
KERMAN, CA (May 9, 2019) – Two people were injured following a traffic accident Thursday afternoon in Kerman.
The crash happened around 4:18 p.m. at the intersection of North Trinity Avenue and West Shields Avenue.
California Highway Patrol officials responded to the scene and located a black 2002 Chevrolet S10. The driver and passenger of the pickup truck were injured from the crash.
The passenger, a 50-year-old Reynaldo Felipe Hipolito-Lopez, sustained a facial trauma and a possible broken right leg, and complained of neck pain.
The driver, Alfonso Mora Pimentel, 50, also suffered a facial trauma and complained of chest and neck pain.
American Ambulance took both patients to Community Regional Medial Center for proper treatment.
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
