5-Vehicle Crash Near Fair Avenue Delays Traffic

San Antonio, TX (February 29, 2024) – Rescuers and police responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 37 Thursday afternoon.

SAPD officers received the five-vehicle crash report before 6 a.m. near Fair Avenue.

Investigating officers said a white truck was southbound when it crashed into a traffic pole holding up the overhead sign. The impact of the collision made the bed to detach from the cab.

Debris from the collision caused a second collision. 

Luckily, this accident did not result in major injuries.

Troopers closed the northbound lanes for more than two hours as they investigated the traffic accident.
