TUCSON, AZ (August 23, 2019) – Rene Fernandez died in a pedestrian accident on West Valencia Road on Friday evening.
 
According to Deputies, the collision happened near Settler Avenue. Based on their report, an unidentified vehicle struck the 38-year-old victim. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found him lying in the ground with serious injuries.
 
Deputies and Drexel Heights Fire Department medical personnel administered aid, before the victim died on scene.
 
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing and no further details are immediately known.
