Reina Huesca-Garcia Injured in Brutal 2-Car Crash on SR 173 [Brewster, WA]

Dammie Carmack and Doreen Barrutia Involved in Disastrous Traffic Crash on State Route 173

Brewster, CA (December 2, 2023) On Thursday evening, 61-year-old Reina Huesca-Garcia of Oregon, 68-year-old Doreen Barrutia and 90-year-old Dammie Carmack both of Brewster, were hurt in a 2-Car Crash on SR 173.

According to the WSP, the traffic crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on SR 173 south of Brewster.

Reports say that an SUV, driven by Barrutia, struck Huesca-Garcia who was standing outside her vehicle who was involved in a prior collision. Huesca-Garcia was assessing the damage from the previous crash when the SUV hits her pickup, causing it to slide and strike her.

Officials say that Huesca-Garcia, Barrutia and her passenger Carmack all suffeered injuries due to the collision.

WSP is investigating the traffic crash and have not released further information at this time.
