1 Dead in Hemet Head-on Collision on State Street and South Village Loop
HEMET, CA (March 1, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, a 58-year-old Reef Crimson died in a DUI crash on State Street and South Village Loop.
The head-on crash occurred at about 3:20 p.m. when a northbound Ford Mustang traveled on State Street. Then, it steered into the southbound lanes near the South Village Loop until it crashed into an oncoming Ford F-150.
As a result, 58-year-old Mustang driver Reef Crimson from Hemet succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Meanwhile, firefighters had to cut out the F-150 driver from the wreckage before being transported with serious injuries. However, the police confirmed that he is expected to survive.
Moreover, the police found evidence that alcohol or drugs may have played a role in the crash.
