Campbell Man Dies in Redwood City Motorcycle Crash
REDWOOD CITY, CA (April 28, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Sunday morning on Highway 84 at Sequoia Avenue.
The crash happened around 11:41 a.m. about a mile West of Skyline Boulevard, according to the CHP.
A 26-year-old Campbell man was traveling westbound when he lost control of his bike as he was navigating a left turn in the road. He then went about 40 feet down an embankment.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. His name has been withheld pending notification of his family members.
One-way traffic control was implemented after the crash, and a SigAlert was issued just after 12:30 p.m. The roadway was fully re-opened around 3:30 p.m.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation, but alcohol and drugs have not been ruled out as possible contributing factors.
