Woman Injured in Pedestrian Collision on Garnet Street near Pacific Coast Highway
REDONDO BEACH, CA (March 15, 2018) – A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on Garnet Street, early Thursday evening.
Around 5:40 PM, police responded to the scene of the collision at the 300 block of Garnet, near the intersection with the Pacific Coast Highway. The female pedestrian sustained moderate injuries and was treated at the scene by personnel from the Redondo Beach Fire Department, before she was rushed to a local hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
The collision briefly caused traffic delays in the area and officials worked to sort out the traffic flow.
