REDLANDS, CA – Fatal Car Accident on Interstate 10 near Mountain View Avenue

One Killed after Car Drives off Westbound I-10 just East of California Street

REDLANDS, CA (May 4, 2018) – A fatal car accident on Interstate 10 was reported by the California Highway Patrol, early Friday morning.

CHP officials responded to the scene of the collision, just after 5:00 AM. According to reports, the car was driving on the westbound I-10, just east of the California Street on-ramp. For unknown reasons, the car drove off the side of the road near Mountain View Avenue.

The vehicle landed on its side near the CVS Specialty Pharmacy and Bryn Mar Road. An occupant in the car was pronounced dead on the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. It is unclear if any other vehicles or people were involved in the incident.

Authorities to investigate the fatal accident and the events leading up to it. No additional information, including the identity of the deceased victim, has been released at this time.
