REDDING, CA – One Injured in Two-Car Crash on Lake Boulevard

Racing Leads to Crash on Lake Boulevard in Redding Injuring One

 
REDDING, CA (January 11, 2019) – One person was injured following a two-car crash Friday afternoon at 12152 Lake Boulevard.
 
The crash happened around 3:44 p.m. involving a Dodge Avenger and another sedan. One of the cars was reportedly racing prior to the crash.
 
Responding paramedics found one occupant inside a vehicle with a back injury. It was not immediately known if the patient was treated at the scene or taken to a hospital.
 
Both cars were towed away from the crash site.
 
No road closures were reported.
 
At this time, California Highway Patrol officials are in the process of investigating the incident to determine the liability.
