Hit-and-Run Collision Reported near Alton Parkway
FOOTHILL RANCH, CA (August 24, 2018) – A motorist was wanted late Friday morning, following a hit-and-run crash on Highway 241.
According to reports, the collision happened at approximately 11:54 AM, just north of Alton Parkway. A reckless driver on a silver BMW crossed the center divider and went across all lanes on the northbound side of the freeway, stated CHP.
It then went up the dirt embankment and fled the scene afterwards. The medics said that no one was injured in the incident, but at least 100 feet of the guardrail was damaged.
The search for the hit-and-run driver is ongoing, and anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the police as soon as possible. As the investigation continues, no additional information has been released at this time.
