Olivehurst, CA (May 07, 2021) – On Friday, Marysville woman Rebecca Coronado-Obregon died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 70.
 
The fatal crash took place at around 2:25 a.m. north of McGowan Parkway overcrossing.
 
The authorities said the 38-year-old victim walked in an unlit part of the lanes of the highway. That is when a southbound Toyota Echo driver struck her in front of his car.
 
Unfortunately, she died due to her injuries at the scene of the accident.
 
Meanwhile, officers do not consider alcohol and drugs to be a factor in the accident.
