Rear-End Collision on Interstate 90 Injures 3 People [Spokane Valley, WA]

Spokane Valley, WA (May 1, 2023) On Sunday morning, a rear-end collision on Interstate 90 sent 3 people to the hospital.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the high-speed crash happened on I-90 east of Broadway.

Reports say that a speeding vehicle, driven by a 19-year-old Spokane Valley woman, rear-ended a westbound WSP patrol car.

Officials say that paramedics transported the 19-year-old woman and 2 WSP troopers to the hospital. Fortunately, Trooper Cadet Lawson and Trooper Cook were both buckled up at the time of the collision. Meanwhile, it is not clear if the woman was wearing her seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The collision wrecked both vehicles, and the crash closed Westbound I-90 at Argonne for several hours.

WSP says that charges are pending against the Spokane Valley woman.
