Raymond Rosenbaum of Brawley Killed in State Route 86 Collision [Imperial, CA]

Imperial, CA (December 28, 2023) –  57-year-old Raymond Rosenbaum of Brawley was killed in a State Route 86 collision Wednesday.

It was about 5:20 p.m. when the motorized bicycle vs pick-up truck collision unfolded south of Ralph Road.

Officers said Rosenbaum was riding a northbound bicycle northbound on the freeway when he was hit by a pick-up truck. 

Imperial Police officers responded to the scene and located Rosenbaum, the motorized bicycle rider, lying in the roadway and was unresponsive. 

Immediately, there rescuers administered CPR but declared Rosenbaum deceased at the scene. 

Moreover, the pick-up driver did not sustain injuries from the accident.

Officers are investigating.
