Raymond Poquette Killed 56-Year-Old Female in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 49
Grass Valley, CA (January 02, 2020) – On New Year’s Eve, police arrested 80-year-old Raymond Poquette of Grass Valley after a fatal multi-vehicle crash on Highway 49.
The fatal crash happened after 11 P.M.
Authorities said a 35-foot motorhome driven by Poquette of Grass Valley crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a 2011 Nissan Altima.
Unfortunately, the Nissan’s driver, a 56-year-old female, died in the crash.
Afterward, the motorhome also struck a 2010 Dodge Charger driving behind the Nissan. Its unidentified driver incurred minor injuries.
The authorities booked Poquette into Nevada County Jail Friday afternoon on one count of murder.
