Raymond Mitchell Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 5
Kalama, WA (September 24, 2021) On Wednesday, tow truck driver Raymond Mitchell died in a pedestrian crash on interstate 5.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says that Mitchell’s truck was parked on the right shoulder of the southbound lane.
The operator was helping a driver when the crash happened.
Authorities say that a semi-truck trailer slid to the right and struck the tow truck and Mitchell.
Moreover, troopers say speed was a factor in the crash.
Meanwhile, no charges are cited against the semi-truck driver, an investigation is ongoing.
