Raul Pena Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Dove Canyon Access Road [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (June 12, 2024) – Raul Pena sustained fatal injuries after he was fatally struck by a vehicle on Dove Canyon Access Road Monday.

The fatal hit-and-run crash happened on June 3 near Loop 1604, in West Bexar County.

Raul Pena prevented his son from being struck by the vehicle. However, he was the one who was hit by the Toyota Tacoma and later died.

The Toyota fled the scene fled the scene turning onto Marbach Road and then Pue Road.

Investigators said the suspect vehicle may be in the areas of Falcon Wolf, Big Wolf Creek, Pue Road, Sunset Place, or Lynwood Village.

They also mentioned that it has damage to its hood and grill. The T and O from TOYOTA on the grill will be missing, leaving the letters YOTA.
