Baker, CA (March 27, 2022) – On March 26, 39-year-old Raul Negrete Gontes of Compton sustained fatal injuries in an Interstate 15 collision.

Officers responded to the crash scene at 3:08 a.m. near mile marker 143. When they arrived, the authorities declared Gontes dead at the scene of the accident.
