62-Year-Old Farmsville Man Hospitalized after Struck by Car near Mineral King Boulevard
GLENDORA, CA (June 4, 2018) – A good Samaritan was struck by a vehicle and left injured in the road after a hit-and-run collision on Road 152, early Monday morning.
62-year-old Raul Martinez of Farmersville stepped out of his car around 5:00 AM on Road 152, to walk over and help a stranded motorist on the shoulder of the westbound Highway 198, near Mineral King Boulevard. Martinez was then struck by a car described as dark sedan while crossing Mineral King.
The car left the area going westbound, and got away before first responders arrived. Martinez sustained a major injury, according to police, and was transported to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation. His condition was not immediately known.
