Fresno, CA (July 14, 2022) – On Thursday morning, 50-year-old Raquel Sigarroa of Fresno sustained fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on Blackstone Avenue.

The fatal accident took place just after midnight in the area of Ashlan Avenue.

Officers say Raquel Sigarroa stepped out into traffic at the center median, into the path of a pick-up truck.

They say the driver was not able to avoid and struck her.

Sadly, Raquel Sigarroa died at the accident scene.
