20-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Hospitalized in Wrong-Way Hit-and-Run Accident on SR 2
Snohomish County, WA (July 30, 2023) On Friday evening, WSP arrested 25-year-old Raphael Landry after the Highway 2 DUI crash.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), that the wrong-way hit-and-run accident happened around 10:21 p.m. on SR-2 at milepost 39.
Reports say that Landry struck a 20-year-old male pedestrian, Landry was driving eastbound on the westbound lane, then fled the scene after the collision.
Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center, officials did not provide details on the extent of injuries suffered.
Meanwhile, authorities later found Landry at milepost 55 of the highway. WSP Arrested Raphael Landry for driving under the influence.
WSP is investigating the wrong-way hit-and-run accident and have not provided additional information at this time.
