Randall King Killed in Vehicle Pileup On 5 Freeway in Lake Forest

 
Lake Forest, CA (June 21, 2020) – On Saturday, Randall King died due to a multi-car accident on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Lake Forest.
 
First reports of the crash were made at around 12:44 pm on the southbound Santa Ana Freeway at El Toro Road.
 
Consequently, this forced the closure of 2 HOV lanes and traffic lanes 1 to 4.
 
A SigAlert issued by the CHP lasted until 3 p.m.
 
Witnesses on the scene said that up to 5 vehicles were involved in the crash at the HOV and number 1 freeway lanes.
 
CHP cleared traffic at around 2:34 p.m.
 
Later reports say that the cause of the accident was stalled traffic near El Toro Road at about 12:40 p.m.
 
Moreover, a Ford rear-ended Mr. King’s Subaru with forcible impact because the driver could not stop in time.
 
Consequently, this caused a chain-reaction collision.
 
As a result of the accident, medics took 71-year-old King to Mission Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
