Deadly 6-Vehicle Wreck on 15 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (December 9, 2018) – At least one person was killed following a multi-vehicle crash Sunday morning on northbound 15 Freeway at Foothill Boulevard.
The fatal crash happened around 6:49 a.m. involving at least six vehicles, described as a black pickup truck, and back Toyota RAV4, a white minivan, a black GMC 2500, and a black Toyota sedan.
Law enforcement responded to the scene and located the vehicles blocking the middle lanes. An infant was found bleeding from the mouth. Emergency crews also arrived and provided life-saving aid to those who were injured from the crash.
Tragically, at least one of the parties involved did not survive and was pronounced dead. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
All freeway lanes were shut down during the rescue and clearing operations.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident.
