Sedan and SUV Collide on 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga, Injuries
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (January 20, 2019) – A child was injured following a two-car crash early Sunday morning on 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga.
The crash happened around 4:33 a.m. on the eastbound direction of the freeway at Carnelian Street.
According to an initial report by the CHP, a dark green Toyota Corolla and a Toyota 4Runner collided for unknown reasons. Both cars were on the right shoulder when authorities arrived.
A baby in the back seat of the Corolla was found injured and paramedics were immediately dispatched to transport the child to a hospital. The extent of injuries sustained and the condition of the patient were not immediately known.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but towing services were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and to identify possible contributing factors.
