Hit-and-Run on Wilshire Boulevard Leaves 1 Dead, Suspect Arrested

 
Los Angeles, CA (August 27, 2020) – On Thursday, a person died in a pedestrian accident on Wilshire Boulevard and Alvarado Street.
 
The fatal accident happened at about 4:30 a.m. in the Westlake area, where the victim was struck by a pick-up truck.
 
Apparently, the involved driver fled the scene after the accident. Even so, witnesses described the hit-and-run vehicle as a white pickup truck.
 
Los Angeles Police Department said the victim died at a hospital.
 
However, the authorities withheld the deceased’s identity.
 
Later on, police located the suspect, 72-year-old Ramiro Vicente Torres.
