45-Year-Old North Bonneville Man Dies in Crash near Milepost 43
STEVENSON, WA (October 13, 2018) – On Saturday morning, a motorcyclist was killed in an accident with an SUV on Highway 14. The deceased victim was later identified as 45-year-old Ralph Perez North Bonneville.
According to Washington Stat Patrol troopers, Perez was riding a 2016 Yamaha FZ-09 motorcycle eastbound on the highway when he tried to pass a 2013 Toyota RAV4 just as it made a left turn.
As per reports, the collision took place near Milepost 43. First responders arrived at the scene and pronounced Perez dead on site. The driver of the RAV4, 69-year-old Georgia Corrie of Corbett, Oregon, was not injured in the incident.
Investigators believe that unsafe passing was the cause of the collision. No further details have been disclosed to the public at this time.
