Police Seek the Suspects after Hit-And-Run Crash on South Pacific Coast Highway in Redondo Beach

Redondo, CA (January 7, 2022) – Monday afternoon, a manager of Ragin Cajun Cafe sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on South Pacific Coast Highway.

Reportedly, the manager was injured after being struck by a car upon confronting the driver and passenger, who were accused of dining and dashing at their restaurant in the 500 block of South Pacific Coast Highway.

Moreover, the confrontation happened shortly after 1 p.m. on January 3.

The footage showed the manager standing in front of the suspects’ vehicle before the driver stepped on the gas, hitting and knocking him onto the hood of the vehicle.

The manager sustained minor cuts and bruises, but the suspects fled southbound.

Authorities described the suspects’ vehicle as an older-model red Chrysler or Ford sedan. 

The accused dine-and-dashers, a man and a woman in their 20s, remained at large.

Further investigation is ongoing.
